The next Moto X is coming, and it is supposed to be ready in all metals. So Evleaks Forecaster prolific and once retired and Hello Moto HK have posted pictures of the upcoming device.
The images hint at an all-metal body, a great set of camera and speakers also rear-facing. Interestingly, the smartphone will be under the hood of Lenovo. So this explains quite the transition from design speaker usual face that Motorola is known for. Apart from design all-metal which comes as a big improvement, the bottom window is large enough to accommodate a digital fingerprint scanner. Also visible is a strange set search connectors (16-pin) on the back that could refer to some interesting add-on accessories at launch. This could also be the new perforations of the rear speakers, like the appearance varies in the different images as shown below.
The feature that allows users to wave their hand on the screen to turn it on can also return. The images also allude to an automatic laser focusing mechanism.
Last month, as revealed by mobi picker, reference list showed a handset called the Motorola XT1650, which packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM chipset. Also revealed by the benchmark was the Android version of the smartphone is tested and it would be Android 6.0.1. Also revealed were the Geek bench scores. The Moto X made scores quite well with a single score in 2309 and 5344 core points of multi-core, which is pretty much standard things we’ve come to expect flagship smartphones these days.
