Nextbit Robin finally launched its smartphone in India for an asking price of Rs 19,999. The Nextbit Robin hits pre-order today and will be exclusive to Flipkart. The device will start shipping from May 30.
The Nextbit Robin has a 1080p 5.2-inch display. Inside, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with no memory card expansion. Nextbit claims to offer 100 GB cloud storage more, for those looking for extra storage space and even automatically back up applications to the cloud when it works on local storage.
In the department of the camera, we have a snapper 13 megapixel rear camera (with your double flash) and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The device packs in the usual connectivity options, including 4G bands, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and even includes a USB charger and fingerprint scanner on the type of power button C. boots combined to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is powered by a non-removable battery 2,680mAh.
The smartphone was announced in October 2015 and promised to offer unlimited storage on your phone with cloud connectivity. The Kickstarter campaign quickly achieved its objective and NextBit Robin went on sale soon abroad. The launch of the smartphone in India is a little late, but the company has something unique to offer both in terms of software and hardware design.
